Family Fright Fest 2026 at Lintz Hall Farm

Family Fright Fest is returning to Lintz Hall Farm this October for a full day of Halloween fun created especially for families.

Running from 11am until 4pm, the event combines live entertainment, Halloween characters, family-friendly mazes, fairground rides, activities and pumpkin picking all in one place.

The scares and shows are designed with children in mind and are recommended for families with children aged approximately 1 to 12 years. Family Fright Fest has also teamed up with Hits Radio for the fifth year of the event.

What’s included at Family Fright Fest? There is entertainment taking place throughout the day, including stage shows featuring popular characters, superheroes, princesses, singalongs, magic and Fright Fest’s Got Talent. Families can also explore three Halloween mazes: iScream Cutthroat Island Giant Inflatable Maze Other activities include Wizard School, Clown School, the pirate galleon, Halloween street theatre, interactive characters, face painting, the Fun and Games Barn and daily fancy-dress competitions. Fancy dress is encouraged for both children and adults, although it isn’t essential.

Free pumpkin for every child Every child attending receives a token which can be exchanged for a free small orange pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Larger pumpkins, white pumpkins, squashes and other varieties may be available to purchase separately. Wheelbarrows are available to use within the pumpkin patch.

Fairground rides, food and drink Family Fright Fest also includes a funfair and fairground rides, photo opportunities, a professional photography station, merchandise and a large street-food village. Food, sweets and treats are available throughout the day, alongside coffee, soft drinks and licensed bar areas for adults. Some activities, food, drinks, rides, photographs and merchandise may carry an additional charge.

Tickets are sold in different pricing tiers, so the price may increase as each tier sells out.

Children aged 1–15

Tier 1: £10 plus £1 booking fee

Tier 2: £12 plus £1.20 booking fee

Tier 3: £14 plus £1.40 booking fee

Adults aged 16+

Tier 2: £15 plus £1.50 booking fee

Tier 3: £16 plus £1.60 booking fee

Family of four

Tier 2: £40 plus £4 booking fee

Tier 3: £44 plus £4.40 booking fee

Maximum of two adults

Family of five

Tier 2: £48 plus £4.80 booking fee

Tier 3: £52 plus £5.20 booking fee

Maximum of two adults

Children under one attend free.

Tickets are released in tiers and availability may differ between dates, so always check the booking page for the latest price.

Important information before visiting

Family Fright Fest takes place across a working farm with outdoor, uneven and potentially muddy ground,
so wellies or suitable footwear are strongly recommended.

The three open mazes are not wheelchair accessible because of the terrain.

However, wheelchair and buggy access is available within the main activity barn, outdoor funfair area,
Troll Academy, Clown School and Wizard School.
An accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities are also available.

Some activities operate using timed tickets handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.

The organisers recommend heading to these shortly after the event opens at 11am because spaces are limited.

Visitors should download or print their tickets before arriving, as mobile signal can be limited around the farm.
